Android Auto

Android Auto is a feature that allows you to use your Android phone on your car's display, allowing you to control features like navigation, maps, calls, text messages, and music. You can connect your phone to your car using its normal charging cable, and the Android Auto interface should automatically activate on your cart's display screen. If it doesn't automatically appear, you should be able to access Android Auto via your car's infotainment system. Android Auto is free to use and comes standard in many cars.

CarPlay

Apple CarPlay is a feature that allows you to use your iPhone while driving by mirroring your phone's apps onto your car's infotainment screen. You can use CarPlay to access your phone's apps, such as Maps, Phone, Messages, and Music, without having to touch your phone.

Facebook

Facebook is a social media platform that allows users to connect with friends, share content, and engage with other users.

The City of Tamarac regularly broadcasts City Commission Meetings and Planning Board Meetings live to Facebook. To view a meeting, visit the City of Tamarac's Facebook page via Web, or by using the Facebook app from your smartphone or tablet.

FireTV

Amazon Fire TV is a set of streaming devices that allows users to stream live and on-demand content on their TV using the internet. Fire TV devices offer access to a wide range of content, including movies, TV shows, music, and games.

Tamarac TV is available to watch on Fire TV.

On your Amazon Fire TV home screen, select Search. Search for “Tamarac", "Tamarac TV” or use Alexa and say “Tamarac TV” as your search query. Select the Tamarac TV app, TV app in Apps & Games, then select Get. When downloaded, the Tamarac TV app appears in the Apps & Channels section of the home screen. Select the Tamarac TV app to open it.

Google Play

Google Play is Google's online store for digital media, including apps, games, movies, TV shows, e-books, and audiobooks. It's available for Android smartphones and tablets, as well as devices running Chrome OS, Wear OS, and Android TV.
