TAMARAC, Fla. (May 19, 2023) – Kick-off the City of Tamarac’s 60th anniversary celebration, Saturday, May 20, during the annual One Tamarac Multicultural Festival! Radio personality, Shelby Rushin will serve as emcee. Performances will showcase an array of worldwide customs representing the Japanese, African, Irish, Mexican and Polynesian cultures. Enjoy live concert performances by Paul Anthony and The Reggae Souljahs and the Tomasito Cruz Band. Guests will commemorate Tamarac’s 60th year with an array of fun learning activities facilitated by the Tamarac Historical Society. This free event also offers a variety of food, family activities and giveaways. One Tamarac will conclude with the City’s very first laser light show.
Event parking is limited. Free shuttles are available from Tamarac City Hall, 7525 NW 88th Ave., and the Tamarac Community Center, 8601 W. Commercial Blvd., between 3:45 - 7:30 p.m., and again after the laser light show.
