
Tamarac, Fla. (Nov. 25, 2025) – More than 2,400 runners, walkers and trotters will flock to Tamarac City Hall, 7525 NW 88th Ave., on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 27, at 7:30 a.m., to participate in the 45th Annual Tamarac Turkey Trot 5K! This year's race has set a third consecutive record for registration, and it is now officially sold out.
Traffic will be impacted. The race starts at NW 77th Street and Pine Island Road and moves south. It will then move east on NW 75th Street, north on 80th Avenue, then west on NW 81st Street, before looping back to Pine Island Road southbound to the finish line. Roads along the course will be closed from 6:30 to 10 a.m.
Event parking is limited. Parking will be available at Tamarac City Hall, 7525 NW 88th Ave., until full. A free shuttle will operate from Tamarac Walmart Neighborhood Market, 6931 NW 88th Ave., to Tamarac City Hall, 7525 NW 88th Ave., beginning at 6 a.m.
