Tamarac, Fla. (September 18, 2023) - The City of Tamarac invites the community to celebrate the final installment of the City's 60th Incorporation Anniversary Celebration at Vintage Family Fun Day, on Saturday, Sept. 23, at Mainlands Park, 4509 Monterey Drive.
Vintage Family Fun Day festivities begin at 10 a.m., with old-fashioned games, a magnificent magic show and a live musical performance by The Miamians. Additional entertainment includes a kids’ zone with face painting, inflatables, food vendors and family-friendly fun.
Vintage Family Fun Day is free and open to the public. Event parking is limited. The City will provide a free continuous shuttle to Mainlands Park from Mainlands Clubhouse 1 & 2, 4301 Mainlands Drive.
Leading up to Vintage Family Fun Day, the City hosted a range of community events. The anniversary celebration kicked off at the One Tamarac Multicultural Festival on May 20, followed by a pool-side adventure at Dive-in Movie on June 23, the annual All-American Celebration on July 4, Party Like It’s 1963 Seniors Program Dance on July 12 and the Tamarac Shines Bright like a Diamond: 60th Anniversary Bash on July 19, the City’s Anniversary.
